Barbecue Grill question

I personally like an all stainless steel bbq, but they might be more expensive. The one you have listed there looks pretty decent, and if you like to bbq you can use it all year (I will bbq on any day of the year as bbq'd food is great).

Anyways...I have a Weber and I love it but if you're looking for a good grill for less money Char-Broil makes good stuff.

Yeah, Like I said in my first post, I got this Charbroil grill for $150 down from $270 (apparently not $300 lik I had thought before). I do recommend anyone looking for a grill, without swastikas, to check if their local hardware giant has any of last year's models still in stock that they're trying to clear out. I can't fathom what the difference is year-to-year, but I'll take the sale.

Are you implying that you are going to cook jews?

No, he wants features comparable to a Weber grill. Like a rust protective finish, kettle-shaped design, and the ability to institute a pogrom on various ethnic groups.

We bought a Kenmore grill from Sears a few years back. Don't think we paid more than $150 or so. 3 cooking racks, side burner, etc. WOrks great. No problems at all. Dad and brother got the same grill the enxt years model and they both love it too.

Had a Kenmore a few years back and didn't think it was really that nice. Had to replace the grill because it started rusting (mmmm...rust flavored steak) and it generally started falling apart after a few years. Unless you are planning on using it very rarely I would stay away from Kenmore. Some of their higher end all stainless stuff might be decent but this was an average/mid-level one I had.

Thanks for the suggestions, I saw some people using characters to set their post different from others, I'd supposed that I used the love and peace symbol to get some attention, in a love and peaceful way about barbecue grills.

So I am pretty much narrow down to either Charbroil or weber, I am leaning more towards to the weber grill.
For the grill experts, do you think that the extra bucks are worth it for the weber brand?

I love everyone coming in here and giving people a history lesson of the OBVIOUS. I don't care that it's a symbol of peace and the Germans stole it. It's obvious what it means today. Mary Gallagher invented putting white sheets with two holes cut out over her kid's heads so they could dress up as ghosts (Halloween, 835 A.D.), but when I see the KKK riding around with them, that's not what I think of.

P.S. I made up Mary's name.

It's not the same symbol, and today it stills means the same thing it did back then.

Come on people stop fixating on that.

Go to Home Despot and compare all the different grills. The quality inside varies significantly between models, so do not shop by Brand. Get very solid racks, efficient burners, a top rack size that you like, and whatever else is important to you. Grillmaster make some excellent grills as well. I absolutely love grilling (2-4 times a week) and would want to make sure I see what I'm getting before buying it.

i never knew the BBQ grill was invented by vegetarian nazi buddists

thanks OP! this thread delivers!

One thing I look for with grills is the BTU output. I always try to get the hottest one for the price point I'm looking for. Also, if your grill has a rotisserie accessory pack, get it. Nothing like roasting a nice fat chicken on the spit on a warm Sunday evening.

I have a Bakers & Chefs grill that I bought 5 years ago. I don't have a single issue with it. I just have to break open the steam cleaner and clean my grates out well this year.
