Baracuda Automatic Pool Vacuum, $158 shipped AR

This is a hot deal for pool owners. This place has the Baracuda Alpha 3 in-ground, automatic pool vacuum for $199 with $8 shipping. There is a $50 rebate too. This pool sweep is $450 at most pool stores and the best I found online is $300. This vac is similar to the Kreepy Krawley (which I have and works great; I am just looking to try something new). It hooks up to your skimmer and works when your pool is on. You will basically never have to vacuum your pool again.

this is a damn good deal, for anyone with a pool, i used to sell similar models when i worked at a pool store and these really do go for $300 ++ . This is a great deal if your lazy and have a pool. look into it, trust me

Rebate that Bonk102 linked to is not for the Alpha 3.

If you order through the poolgear web site, get confirmation on the rebate.
The site indicates that there is a mail-in rebate coupon recieved with the order

I only see a rebate on the Barricuda site for the G3, not the Alpha 3.

Rebate may be over. I'd call and ask the store.

I emailed Baracuda about the rebate and expiration. Here is what they said:

Yes there is a rebate on certain Alpha 3 models, The rebate is determined
by the serial number.

If the serial number is A477198 and lower, then there is a $50.00 rebate,
but if higher than A477198 the rebate has expired.

My guess is the rebate is good, since it is mentioned in the Poolgear web site. I will find out when the unit comes in on Monday.
