My SO yelled that he might run for pres one day so I thought I would have a look-see.

He be a good VP though. Same as Bill richardson(??) of nevada.

Not yet ready for Prez, but VP would help the person running for Prez and build them up to run after them.

He's smart. Has good old basic every day thinking & ideas, like we USE to have back in the JFK era, and before the right wing nut cases took over politics.
But he is not quite ready for prime time. Has great ideas and opinions, but needs more experience under the belt. I wouldnt count on 08, but 2012 would be realistic. Or a vice would be a good start too.

Two thoughts on Barack.
He looks good up front, but the real test is leadership ability. Could he get you to change your opinion on a subject? If so, then he passes, if not, well... A good leader has to be able to do that.

Also, seems he's waiting for Hillary to decide before he decides. Thats not good. If Barack wants it bad enough, has the desire, then Hillary's decision wont have any play (or shouldn?t) on his own decision for 08.
