Anyone know where you can get a Bar Billiards table in the US?
Or one shipped from the UK for a reasonable rate (2000 pound is NOT reasonable).

<< as in a 7ft valley, one piece slate, with the coin op?
i have one :D

I thought they were generally 6 feet? We're talking about a device that's roughly the size of a pinball machine. THere are 5 holes running across the back and 3 others in the middle of the table in a triangular shape.
And 3 skittles (mushrooms). And like some white cue balls and one or two red cue balls.

If that's what you've got.....GIMME!

Dunno....do you know someone selling one? The place I found is selling refurbed tables for 2000 UK Pounds! REFURBS! I guess I'd consider paying that much for a brand new one.
For a used one, I was hoping to pay like $500-$600 US, but depending on the condition, I might consider up to $1000-$1200US....

ok first things first......a regulation pool table is 9 feet. coinops are 7 footers. there are 8's available but tournaments, pros, and self respecting pool halls use 9 footers.

are you referring to bumper pool or carom? thats the only thing i can think of that youre describing

Hehe...
It's a pretty weird traditional game. It combines elements of bumper pool (you have to combo or bank all shots) and elements of caroms (the three caroms or skittles).
It's a popular UK pub game. Since it's small (around 6' x 3') and you shoot from a D-shaped area at one of the ends of the table, the game can be situated in a corner or against a wall.

Lemmee see if I can find a linky...
Link!

I think Billliards is only played in the UK and is a very unusally game.

I wouldn't say that it is a popular game. I go to the pub almost everynight and in all the time I have been drinking I can only ever remember seeing one Billiards table in a pub

There's a lot of different variations of pool and billiards and caroms that are only similar to the now-standard US 8-ball and 9-ball games in that you hit balls on a felt-lined table with sticks :)

Anyway, this is an entirely different game even from those. I did some clever searching on Ebay last night to no avail....I even hunted manually through most of the coin-op games...

It's a strange animal. The only reason I know of its existence is that I have a friend who was stationed in England in the US AF and was introduced to the game. He found a table in an antique shop for a few hundred dollars and had it shipped stateside. He introduced me to the game.
