I wouldn't tempt the mods if I were you.

You can get the same effect as being banned, by going into your profile and putting in a nonexistant email address (cannot be yahoo or hotmail or one of the ones they don't permit.) Your new password will be sent into the abyss & you won't be able to post no matter how hard you try.

Anyway, sbastedo, if it's that hard for you, try unplug your internet connection (ethernet, dialup, etc). Maybe just shutting off your computer if you don't need it for your work.
