Couldnt they just stay open a bit LONGER on Fridays? I mean geez they leave right at 5pm (well normally before but hey 😛). and I dont get off work till 5 🙁 ANd I need to deposit some cash. ARRG!

Uhh...the banks around here stay open until 6pm on Friday. /shrug Doesn't matter to me. I have direct deposit. 🙂 Do you have check now? Drop it in the deposit slot.

Directly depositing your check into the deposit slot is not the same thing as Direct Deposit. 😀

Some banks are in grocery stores and are open on saturdays too. You can also deposit stuff in an ATM and it'll be available for withdrawal in a couple days.
 
yes well it was to late to go today. so I have to go morrow 🙁 which is whats annoying.

and its not a check its cash 😉

and I hate going on Sat cause im always afraid Ill miss them. Also causes me to loose some sleep 🙁

Deposits are free.
What's cool is I can also make them with participating credit union network providers (deposit at other credit union atm's).
I pay no charges to withdraw funds from my credit union's atm, and some other networks within my area(Honor for example, presto etc).
😉

Plus I pay for most things on credit card, write one check a month, easiest way to balance a check book imo.

I can't remember the last time I spoke to a teller... I use the atm for all transactions. it's so much faster, and I can do it whenever I want to.
