Good. Those lazy complacent Americans work too inefficiently and demand too much money. The Indians are not only better workers but more deserving of having work. If your American and don't like this, move to India.

If India is so great, why do they need American banks to bring them jobs?

1. India is a liberal, socialist state and a lot of industries were not privatized until recently
2. India is 56 years old, the United States is 227 years old - give us time, we'll send the jobs back in another 170 years
SuperTool, India is great irrespective of whether it gets these piddling 1000 BoA jobs.

The point is the "lazy complacent inefficient overpaid" American workers are the ones whose holdings are paying the salaries of the "better more deserving" Indian workers.
If we are so inefficient complacent and lazy, how come we generate $36000 GDP per capita, while the apparently hard working and more deserving Indian worker generates $2600 GDP per capita in terms of purchasing power parity?
Hey! :frown: I didn't say American workers were inefficient! Zephyr106 said it. For what it's worth, I am a worker in America. Actually, I disagree that American workers are lazy. They work very hard and are very diligent. I actually respect American work ethics. You were the one who suggested that India wasn't great after all. You are wrong about that and that has nothing to do with how hard Americans work.
That said, in the IT industry, at the programmer level, Indians back in India work much harder - they are not as accustomed to customary software development processes and the quality of their work is typically functional, though inelegant. However, they work very, very, very hard. Take it from someone who put in his share of 14 hours days with no overtime for 1 full year working for an American client in India. I work a fraction as hard here but the quality of my output is much better in this environment.
