How much bandwidth does google use per day (I have no idea, I'm just asking)?

I say 250TB

EDIT: BTW, this includes all of their services (maps, earth, photos, videos, ads, etc...)

what is their connection? How many centers?

I say they run their pipes at about 40% average, you can do the math from there.

Well they only logged about 175TB of web contecnt so I'm guessing maybe a Yottabyte of bandwidth per month

BTW for Google to finish logging the net it will take about 300 years.

Google to be finished in 2305

Good news is Scotty will be able to fix the servers.

Well with over 60,000 servers in their farm I'm sure they have more than 1 OC3

Hence why I said for reference.

If I knew how many data centers they had I could probably estimate.

Let's assume 4xOC12 (16 OC3s)

16x16.7=267 TB. They'd never run them full tilt so assume an average of 40% utilization.

That's still only 100 TB a day.
