Bandwidth Monitor

My ISP is currently limiting the amount of upload/downloading I am doing, so I am looking for some sort of program to monitor the total used on the network, or at least the computer.

Anyone know a good program for this?

Last I checked, Zone Alarm and Sygate firewalls would monitor your connection. A quick search of download.com and majorgeeks.com turns up dozens of these utilities, some better than others. Also windows Task Manager has the ability to monitor network usage, for a more accurate view of it; set your wired nic to run at 10MB/s.

D-Links newest Gaming router also includes an OLED screen on the front to display download and upload speeds.

Who is your ISP and why are they doing this?

ISP is shaw, they're doing this because I downloaded over my 60 GB limit. Just want to make sure.

Just looking for something to keep a running total of the amount downloaded/uploaded throughout the month. I'll test some of these out later, thanks 🙂

I'm looking at Tomato and I can only see speeds, perhaps I am missing it.

What I need, is something that tells me I have currently downloaded 38.2 GB and uploaded 17.8 GB. I do not need to monitor the current up/down speeds.

Sorry, I should have been more clear.

i've been using Bandwidth Monitor Pro for awhile now and love it. its pretty basic in design and usage but you can have t show total's by month, day, week kinda whatever you need. Might wanna try it out for a "simple" program

if you're on vista I found that NSL doesn't work on vista for me.

NetMeter worked fine tho.
it has the features you wanted you just need to right click and choose options to see them.
