Bandwidth 4912g

The Cisco 4912G has 12 GBIC ports and has "24 Gbps of dedicated bandwidth" according to the Cisco site. This is not a modular switch, so you would not be able to change that.
 
Actually, the backplane (transport between ports within the switch) of a 4912Gis only 12Gb/s. That's PLENTY for 12 gigabit ports, however.
