Not many people have that kind of range, can stay pretty much in tune and be that loud.

He can sound like garbage live though.

What range? He stays high all the time.

Also I think Rage Against the Machine is also pretty high on my list thinking more on it.

Iron Maiden and AC/DC for sure. I can't believe nobody mentioned those yet.

Supertramp
The Beaver Brown Band (With John Cafferty gone, the name changes)
Possibly The Dave Matthew's Band
System of a Down (that guy has no business being behind a microphone)

If the music is good enough, I can ignore bad vocals for the most part. Unless they're really bad. Screaming/growling doesn't bother me at all, as long as it's good.

GnR doesn't bother me at all. Nor does AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Dio, Rush, Dream Theater, or most of the other bands listed in this thread. Even Smashing Pumpkins, tho I don't really care for the music, so thats what ruins it for me.

What do you all think of this?

Believe it or not, that's a female vocalist.. lol. And yes, I would call that good growling. At least you can understand what she's saying for the most part.

Pretty much every screaming metal band ever. I love metal instrumentals but absolutely cannot STAND screaming/growling. Between the Buried and Me and Protest the Hero are some really good examples.

same here. so many cool songs ruined by growling or screaming.

Rush. Def one of the most annoying sounding voices out there, but I do respect the band for their music abilities.

Creed as well. Stapp is such a self-righteous, sanctimonious ass. Hearing him try to sound all badass makes me want to beat him with a bible.

Which SoaD guy? The guitarrist has done quite a bit of vocals too and that's who most people can't stand.
