Of course, you'd have to consider it over a long period of time.

Top three that come to mind for me is:

1. Rush

2. Boston

3. George Thorogood

Anyone else?

nickelback audio thing has two different songs, yet except for being different lengths (and just slightly at that) and having different introductions, they are the EXACT same, some of the words and phrases even match up... they get my vote.

yeah, I think they went more toward pop in their later years, and not as hard-rock, which changed their sound some. I would agree they fall under this category.

Perhaps AC/DC?

Jet's songs kind of sound the same, but that's only because they sound like (and rip off) AC/DC.

AC/DC is probably the ultimate "all songs sound the same" band. But hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I can't believe Rush is even considered for this list.

I don't mean that they sound exactly alike, but rather, over the course of their entire career, their sound is basically the same. The opposite of this would be a band like U2, which sounds nothing like it did in its earlier days, and has evolved tremendously. The Beatles are like that as well.

Rush rules... I think the coveted #2 spot (Nickleback is #1 no contest) has to go to Creed. At least they broke up.

Timbaland? Ludacris? Kanye West? Geez if it weren't for rap, there'd be no innovation going on right now in pop music. Oh let me guess, you like esoteric punk?

I was just mentioning the other day that Tool has very little progression between albums. At this point, having first listened to tool about 12 years ago, it often seems like incessant droning.
