Bands/musicians you used to like

Which bands did you happily listen to in the past that just you can't stand anymore or are generally pretty tired of?

Here's a few of mine, off the top of my mind:
U2
A lot of Greenday
Nirvana
Pearljam
JimmyEatWorld

For me, radio has killed AC/DC, Aerosmith and Bon Jovi. Although going to karaoke bars has also killed Bon Jovi for me (picture groups of college students, mostly girls, badly butchering 'Living On A Prayer').

I can't think of any that I don't like anymore... I still listen to the same stuff. Oh wait, Marilyn Manson. Used to listen to him in high school a little.

Nirvana.

I haven't listened to their studio albums in years (except 4-5 songs) but I give 'MTV Unplugged in New York' a listen at least once a month.

The "in the pines" is A+ material and gives me chills everytime i hear it. I think its called "where did you sleep last night" on the album, but its supposed to be called "in the pines" because of Leadbelly.

That is a sick record. Every song... fsck I wish I could've been there when they played live.

Agreed...

Also ...

Greenday blows now... They think they are British ... and emo sucks...

When I first heard Three Doors Down they were at some thing down in Philly ... it was about a year or so before they got big with their album... I thought they were awesome... They closed with that superman song... I was blown away... then the radio played every song on that album until it was nauseating.

I could list a bunch here, but Korn really takes the cake.
Oh good one, I forgot about them. Yeah I listened to them quite a bit back in the day. I went from liking music like them and Marilyn Manson to liking the opposite, more poppy stuff like The Queers (they sound similar to The Beach Boys and The Ramones put together) and The Shins and Blink-182.

That song is pretty outstanding... did you ever listen to Leadbelly's version from the 20's?

Yeah, Kryptonite was the most played song on the radio for a long time, but I think that got beaten by Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams."

I used to love Green Day, and now I can't stand them. They are very unoriginal now?
.. But on the flip side
I have always loved the Red Hot Chili Peppers - and I still do! I'm amazed at their musical ability. Go flea and john!
