you're accusing someone else of being loony?

lol Dixie Chicks and the Boss...go figure.

Who cares what these people think? they get paid to entertain, not give socio/political insight....

We all get paid to do <insert job> and not give insight. Oh wait, we are still Americans and have the right to gather, protest, speak out, etc.

If it were Tim McGraw having a hee haw against Kerry, you'd be all for it, lol.

ahh, bored musicians thinking people care what they think.

Why do people care what this celebrities think in politics anyhow.

Most of them make so much money policies have little effect on them and their family. They'll throw out there money and make things better for themselves should they run into a problem.

re: Good. Anything to get that worthless piece of sh1t out of the white house.

he left (or were you referring to his "wife"?) In January of 2001.

We all know just how much weight bands have when it comes to politics! Go go Dixie Chicks! You're main audience will definately follow your lead in voting out the Republican president. You know, the same audience that made sure you had 0 air play after that incident awhile back.

 Nothing like a bunch of Bush bashers adoring idiotic celebrities. Hey, pay attention to me because I have money and the media spotlight, yet have no real world experience or insight!

The above is sufficient.

More from Link:

...more than 20 musical acts inclusing Springsteen, Dixie Chicks, Jurassic 5, John Mellencamp, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, Babyface, Bright Eyes and the Dave Matthews Band.

Most have a history of social activism, from Browne's anti-nuclear concerts to Mellencamp's Farm Aid shows.

"At some point, you can't sit still," said Vedder, a harsh critic of the Iraq war. "You can't spend your life, when people are getting killed, without asking serious questions about why."

Springsteen said he didn't fear any backlash over going public with his personal politics.

"It's a pretty clear-cut decision in November," said Springsteen, whose songs have provided a backdrop for some Kerry events. "We're chipping in our two cents. That's all we're trying to do."

AKA Hitler?

I think he prefers Little Hitler. Seriosly though, I would not be surprised to see the other side counter this with their own artists that support Bush. As a matter of fact, I would be shocked if they don't counter this within 2 weeks time. There are musicians that support Bush, too, so don't be surprised when they roll out their tour bus...
