Well it looks like he has dumped 739 :Q

Which strangely enough is 4 more than they lead by now in the official stats here

What I find extremely ironic is that in this DSLR Thread

SeaQuake makes the comment:

<I've noticed a shortage of sand and trash bags lately. I have a feeling our friends next door are saving up some results....DON'T LET UP.

The One is notorious for large dumps.>
:Q

I find this extremely funny considering Bandai's dump today. Which isn't his first one of the race. Kinda like the pot calling the kettle black. Hmmm? ;);)

If I saved up until the race was almost over I could dump about 8 WU's :)

If I may Mr. Ray. Bandai has never had anything that even closely resembled a schedule for uploading. I contacted him prior to the start of the race when he got out of the hospital and requested that he upload as often as he could. It would appear to me that he is in fact complying with my request and also with the rule relating to weekly uploads by private caches. ;)

Sorry MgKnight, I forgot the smilies. :Q

I guess I should have made it clearer, ie <The One is notorious for large dumps>
So is Bandai. :D That is the pot calling the kettle black. :D

In both cases, I understand that large fleets can be difficult to maintain, to schedule dumps, etc., and to maintain bandwidth for users, it may be necessary to save WUs and dump them on off hours, or when you can get to it. :)

The implication of that quoted statement is that Anandtech is sandbagging, and perhaps not abiding by the rules. That I don't care for, just as much as you wouldn't care for it if I accused DSLR of the same thing, no? :)

I trust that DSLR is abiding by the rules, just as I know that TA is. If it turns out that someone on either team isn't abiding by the rules I will be among those who protest strongly, and will work on whatever sanctions, penalties, etc. are appropriate. :)

Now I'll go back and edit the post, and add the smilies, so it doesn't come off so harsh. :p

;);)

RaySun2Be and Friends at Team Anandtech.... Regarding the following post:

-------
SeaQuake makes the comment:

<I've noticed a shortage of sand and trash bags lately. I have a feeling our friends next door are saving up some results....DON'T LET UP.

The One is notorious for large dumps.>

It was brought to my attention that the words I used in the DSLR thread have upset a couple of you. Apparently, some of you have inferred that I am accusing TA sandbagging and breaking the rules of engagement for our race. This was not my intention. If you will note the quote above, copied and pasted EXACTLY as it appeared at DSLR, there is no mention of any kind of unfair goings-ons. Please take a close look at my words... What catches your eye? I hope it's the three Capital words that say "DON'T LET UP".

My intention in this post is to keep the DLSR members from becoming complacent and thinking we've got this race in the bag. Our lead was growing (I think) and I didn't want my team to believe we were pulling away. I was informing them of "the ones" typical dumps and that there are probably a couple of other members on your team who had not flushed their cache in a couple of days.

There is nothing wrong with holding the WUs for a couple of days. You will note on overhill's stats that I had 11 of my results deducted from my total after I flushed an offsite system. I could not get to this system prior to the start of the race to dump the units. It happens.

Do I believe that you guys are holding back some WUs? Absolutely! Do I think DSLR members are holding back some WUs...no doubt. Do I think either of the two teams or any individual member is operating outside of the rules of engagement? I don't think so.

Please, do not read into my words and think I am making any suggestions. If I think someone is cheating or up to no good, then by-golly I'm going to come right out and say it. MgKnight can confirm that I have not suspected any foul play or trouble with either team or its members.

Now, with that said and done, I hope this clears up any misunderstanding. You're a great team and you've got my respect. Even though you are going to lose! :)

Seaquake...you're all confused now......You did very well until you got to the above part......the "Even though you are going to lose!" part! :Q

We'll see....we shall see! :Q

(P.S. No problems.......I've read many of your posts over the months and I think you are one of the many great members of both teams....thanks for stopping by...come back anytime :D)

Now where did I put Ray's cane to whack this DSLR Whacko on the backside as he slips out of the TA forums...hehe! :p

:p:Q:D

Seaquake, dont worry about it friend. I dont really think that anyone thought you were accusing us of sandbagging at all, at least, that wasnt my impression of your post.

What Ray meant I'm sure, is that although we may make occasional large dumps, so does a cirtain member of your team. I dont think he meant anything more by it as Ray is probably one of the most trustworthy members we have, I can assure you his intentions are good. (If I have this wrong, then someone warn me of Ray.. ;))

Thanks for coming round to us and sorting it out. That was noble :)

LOL @ Domination :D
