I'm not ordering it, but I'm just curious.....if you lived all these years with BOB on blu-ray and were willing to order it on Jan.10......why would you not be willing to wait another month or two? Why cancel now, I don't get the logic? Or would you just buy it somewhere else closer?

Not being a dick, just wondering b/c there are quite a few people in here saying that it will take too long so they are cancelling or not ordering.

Great deal BTW!

I just bought my BR player a month ago so I am eager to watch this on BR with DTS 5.1 surround sound. I love this series but did not "discover it" until 1 1/2 years on History channel, Yes I live under a rock that is why I never heard it lol. At that time I put off buying DVDs until this whole Blu ray/HD DVD thing was straightened out. Then I waited for the price of the BR players to come down. I bought nice one with BD Live and Netflix on it and promptly cancelled my cable movie channels.

So I never bought the DVD because I knew I would be getting it on BR. Can I wait that long? Yes I can but if I am paying for service or item then I would like at my earliest convenience not the sellers. Waiting 20 days just for dispatch is just not acceptable when you are selling something and have stock on hand.

Makes sense. Heck I don't even have a BR player yet :(.

Has anyone else ordered and received this BR besides Teatime0315?

Screw this I just cancelled mine. Ordered it on Jan. 2 and dispatched date of Jan. 29 is stupid when it says he has 10 on hand. Something fishy about the whole thing.

Hmmm... who is he? My order was with Amazon.uk direct on the 8th and a dispatch range between l/18 and 1/25. I thought earlier you wrote you ordered on the 10th. Patience grasshopper ;)

Yes Russ you are correct I did order it on the 10th (gets plate and salt ready for the crow dinner) but still it just seems like a long time (18 days before it will even ship) to wait.

I may be be to cautious also, I read all the time about people getting screwed in deals though this is through Amazon but a different country. I just decided to cancel it and not take a chance.

There are a couple of other people here that have said they have and it works but they do not say where they are at. I also had reservations about the region code even though some here said they are region free.

Anyone get Bourne yet?

Over at AVS a lot of people have and say it is safe and works great, any opinions from ATers? I think I will order tonight/tomorrow.

No extra charges or anything besides the cost of the item, right?

Also, I was wrong I just looked and it was supposed to have arrived on the 21st. So, one week ago. Just seems like its been two weeks LOL! But it has been sufficiently long enough for the order to drop off my recently placed order list. Sheeeit.

This is why I cancelled BoB. When I ordered it the quanity was 12 then when it said 3 almost 3 weeks before it is even shipped and had a quanity of 6, I cancelled the order. Now the damn thing is backlogged till March.

This is the response I got when I emailed them asking whats up:

"I can understand that you should have received it by the estimated delivery date and unfortunately, in spite of all of our efforts, there can sometimes be unforeseen delays and in this case I would ask that you wait a little longer.

We're happy to provide tracking information for our customers when possible, but Royal Mail deliveries cannot be tracked.

It's been our experience that the majority of late packages arrive shortly after the estimated delivery date. Therefore, please wait until February 02, 2010, for your order to arrive as this is the maximum period we expect our carriers to delivery this order, however rest assure that you will receive this order well soon before this period to meet your needs.

Further, the vast majority of our orders are usually delivered well within the expected delivery time; however, occasionally a package may be delayed. This is not a common occurrence but when it does happen, we take full responsibility should any item become lost or damaged during delivery and we are happy to replace these items at our own cost.

Our carriers have proven over time to offer a very efficient and reliable service. However, we are very aware that as a company we rely heavily on the postal system to supply our customers with their orders, and that any delay during transit such as this reflects badly on us.

If your package has not arrived by February 02, 2010, please let us know using the link below so we can investigate and take the appropriate action."

I remember paying more for this series on DVD used from ebay awhile back. Definitely worth $30 for a blu-ray version.

FYI, I got my Bourne trilogy today! Took almost a month, but I'm not worried about how long it took for the price.
