Who do I have to beg for a Banana Republic coupon? I am a struggling college student in need of a new coat (and was planning on buying one tomorrow). Every dollar counts, and I would absolutely love a coupon. imscottyk@gmail.com

they had a 30% off all BR coats and jackets last month without coupons or anything in store. i guess you missed that sale
 
Well hell if your so strapped for cash, why are you shopping at banana republic? And yes Im also a college student strapped for cash.🙂
 
Don't complain about being a struggling student if you shop at BR.

If you really are struggling, go to Old Navy.
 
Ya what he said. Even places like Aeropostle will have sales going on that will be cheaper than BR. I got a fleece zipper hoodie for 20 bucks, marked down from 50.
 
yea, as others have said, struggling and b.r. generally don't go together. if you're in NEED of a warmer coat, try the other least expensive store. though you did miss out on a great b.r. sale last month. i saved 30% and then 15% off my coat, for a total savings of over $80. 🙂
 
No joke. But sometimes good deals can be found at Goodwill Stores. You can easily find jacket and coats for 10 bucks or less. Ross sometimes have good deals too.
 
BR used to have a lot more coupons. They wanted to migrate their brand away from the 'wait for coupon' customer shopping behavior and have done that this season.

i have their luxe card because i used to be an addict to BR clothes. now no more i only get them on sale, which is once in a blue moon


although im glad my gf told me about their 30% coat sale and i scored a nice jacket 😀
 
Heh, this is too late to do you any good but the BR employees at the store I went to were giving out cards to random customers since they were going to expire at the end of the day anyway. The store clerk who helped me out *really* helped me out by hooking me up with one of her's. Something to keep in mind for next time, though you really shouldn't go to stores begging for the coupons either. Treat it more like, if you go, you might get lucky. 🙂 Shoulda gotten her number too, hehe.

p.s. BR F&F events require a coupon hardcopy. They don't accept printouts. Also for next time. 😉
