bambi's gender?

Isn't bambi shown at the end as a badass looking buck with antlers? I'd say he's either a guy or a chick with hormone problems.
 
The main characters are Bambi, a white-tailed deer, his parents (the Great Prince of the forest and his unnamed mother), his friends Thumper (a pink-nosed rabbit), and Flower (a skunk), and his childhood friend and future mate, Faline.

WTF with "Bambi is a girl"---there's a huge dramatic scene right near the end of the film where Bambi has to fight off another male who's also interested in Faline. Antlers and angry male glares all over the place.
 
Lets not forget the offspring he created with Faline. Faline is obviously a girl so unless they had some doctors and a sperm bank I think Bambi has to have some guy parts.

haha, it's been many many years since I've seen Bambi. I don't really remember a thing about it, but I actually thought girl, if only because Bambi is a woman's name.

I don't remember anything about antlers.
