Check out this interview at the 6:00 mark. The kid pukes during a Today Show interview!

he doesnt seem nervous

Ahahahaha, lies are like kryptonite to this kid.

I hope we don't hear any news that they temporarily poisoned the kid so he couldn't answer any more questions during the interviews.

right. people this is a rumor, they didnt POISON THEIR OWN SON TO KEEP HIM FROM TALKING DURING THE INTERVIEW

again, theres no sane family that would have POISONED THEIR OWN CHILD TO SHUT HIM UP

Eh, a little bit of ipecac isn't going to hurt him. 😉

But why doesn't the Dad just deny POISONING HIS OWN CHILD TO SHUT HIM UP? I'm not saying I believe the rumor that THEY POISONED THEIR OWN CHILD TO SHUT HIM UP, I'm just saying it's strange that he won't address the allegations that they POISONED THEIR OWN CHILD TO SHUT HIM UP.

Seriously? These people couldn't pull off this hoax more properly? They could have at least attached a box to the bottom of the balloon in the first place.

Edit:  @ the wife swap video where they are "searching for evidence that humans are descended from aliens." And they're wife-swapping with rednecks...

First the AP reported about an hour or two ago that the cops didn't think it was a hoax. Now the police want to dig deeper. Also read the police chief said if it turns out to be then they will seek full recoupment of any funds used in the "rescue". Read the full article, the family was shopping the idea of a reality show based on them. This was a hoax/publicity stunt.

"Cops want to question balloon boy Falcon Heene and his publicity-hungry parents again.

Under pressure from skeptics who smell a hoax, a Colorado sheriff announced Friday he wants to reinterview the 6-year-old boy who riveted the nation in a runaway balloon drama.

The fact that Falcon got sick twice on national TV early Friday when he and his dad, Richard, were asked whether they staged the drama "raised suspicions," said Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden.

"

Someone explain this to me. That balloon doesn't look like it has a gondola to carry a person. Why the heck would anyone think there's was a kid riding in it?

Yeah I don't see this ending well for the parents. Either they were pulling a hoax to get attention or they were too stupid to realize that balloon could not float if a 6 year old were hiding in it.

And none of the other rescuers involved could have put that fact that the balloon probably couldn't have lifted a 6 year old boy very far if at all together for themselves either? The parents are the only ones with brains? All they knew was what the other kid told them and that they could not find their son. I imagine they were probably more than a little frantic. Here's how it went down more than likely:

Falcon playing around with balloon. Brother to Falcon: "Stop messing with Dad's balloon or I'm telling!"

Falcon: "Shut up, you butthead."

Brother runs into house yelling, "Daaaad! Daaad!"

Falcon goes to get far away from the balloon so his dad will not find him near it when he comes out to investigate but accidentally trips over the tether cord yanking it loose and the balloon goes floating free. Now he's really scared. "Oh crap!" he thinks to himself, "Dad is gonna kill me, I better run away and hide."

Dad comes out of the house to investigate what the other brother said about the time the balloon is oh I dunno . . .maybe 1000 feet up. . .too far to see it clearly in great detail. He freaks out, yells for his son. "Falcon! Where are you? Falcon!?"

No answer. The panic sets in. . .from here it escalates.

Falcon is finally found and upon emerging and seeing all the media cameras decides, having been on TV shows in the past, that they must be on another TV show now. And he convinces his little 6 year-old self that this was all part of a TV show to absolve himself of the guilt he must feel for disappointing his father and losing his balloon.

Did you even read your own story link? Where does it say that what happened yesterday had ANYTHING to do with any reality show they may or may not have been developing? So since they had a reality show idea they were kicking around on the side that instantly means that this was all staged as part of it? If conclusion jumping were an Olympic medal sport you'd be the world record holding gold medalist.

Are you retarded? There's a fucking video of the balloon launch, it happened nothing like that.

Perhaps. Now that I have seen the video, perhaps I am. . .
I was having internet connection problems earlier and couldn't see it but now that I see it. . .hmmmmm. . .

So is there any date information on the balloon launch? I know this reeks of hoax, but to be fair, I'm sure they've launched the balloon many times for "research" purposes. (since they were storm chasers) How does one know whether the video was from a past launch or the launch that set off this whole news story?

The plot thickens. The father has a history of attention grabbing stunts and involving his family in them.

Barb Slusser of Fort Collins worked with Richard Heene on a show called, "The Science Detectives," which Heene described on his MySpace page as a documentary series "to investigate the mysteries of science." She said she stopped working with him after becoming concerned about his off-the-wall antics and attempts to get media attention for the program.

"Basically, what I'm saying, knowing Richard, there's always a possibility that this was done for publicity," she said.

The biggest problem with this stunt is that it will most likely work. This dude will have a show within the next year with Americans glued to the tube to see this obnoxious douche.

and if they gave out a Nobel Prize for being a naive apologist douchebag even Obama wouldn't have a chance of winning against you.

except for the fact there is a vidoe of the release.

Also they had 2-3 baloon experts who have sadi yes that baloon is able to carry a 6yr old boy. They also had 1 who said it was not possible.

But it sure is starting to look like they did it for the exposure

The dollar figure for the boys 'rescue' is at 2 million now .

Make them pay every single penny. If they don't get punished somehow it tells the rest of the country that this kind of stunt has no bad consequences and you get TV time to boot. Hit 'em in the wallet.

This is the only option. I suggest jail time in a FPMITP
