The problem with that test, is the quality of the other competitors. The Mushkin they used was the lowest bin. HPs and XPs would have smoked the Ballistix. The Ballistix also fail now because they can't run 2.2v without burning up. Thats why Crucial lowered the standard voltage to 2.0v

Any more I just don't even bother with "high-performance" memory. Just pick up whatever's cheap and functional (boots at 1.8V) and get plenty of it.

Definitely not the fairest of reviews in terms of the kits they compared.

But still interesting.

Not sure why they didn't show max 5-5-5 though...no one runs CAS 6 with DDR2 normally.
