ballpark prices on tux rentals

its for a wedding and i will call tomorrow to get the price. im just doing some rough numbers for a wedding and need to know how much a standard tux will cost to rent.

so if you know please let me know so i can get a rough estimate on cost.

(i haven't rented a tux since my sr prom in 1987)
 
$75-150

If you can pick any tux you want, you can get one that looks fine at the lower end of the price range. If you're in the wedding and the bride/groom picked out the tux, you might be at the upper end.

Usually you just ask for the "book", which has all their styles in it and you just write down the style #s on the order form.
 
if you just need a generic tux, and you'll wear it 2times or more in your life its usually cheaper to buy one. I got a nice one at JCpenny for $130 or so and it has more than paid for itself

i have rented several tuxes there and never has one even close to 60 bucks. the cheapest was 120. my last was 150 and was the most expensive.

You're smoking some serious crack if you think that's close. My tux's for our wedding were $182 after tax.

They don't do that anymore. Their cheapest is $110, most expensive is $160 or $170. That includes shoes, everything but the socks. Groom's tux is free if you have 4+ groomsmen IIRC. Just used them for my wedding 3 weeks ago. Previously, I've paid about $110 for other tux rentals at local places in Dayton, OH.
