The balloon boy hoax that took place four years ago on You Tube.

It seems that the father is making a profit through his boys. In my opinion, he is milking the publicity that the family got 4 years ago. They play in a metal band, and they are home schooled.

The father says...
"We can now earn a living having the kids go out and perform. They make tips and they sell merchandise. There is enough there so we can survive."

They were on the news a couple of weeks ago and I posted a thread in another forum I frequent. Their "band" sounds TERRIBLE and won't make any money. Their loser dad is an attention whore who apparently can't get a real job so he is trying to make money off his kids. It will fail.

His dad is an attention whoring loser who can't hold down a job and whose stunt in the balloon boy incident got him arrested and charged with several crimes. I believe he spent time in the clink during the week and the wifey did weekends in the clink or on court-ordered community service.

He is letting his son dress like a fool and play in a metal band... Best dad ever, in the eyes of a child!

I think "letting" is an interesting choice of words. I was thinking "making" or "forcing" was more appropriate.

Threw me off when you said "on YouTube." This was on national news media everywhere. It wasn't really a YouTube thing.

Are you really asking that question? The guy had his kids go along with a lie so the family might get a reality TV show. Because of that the kids had to go on national TV and lie to everybody. That is a lot of pressure to put on a child. Now he is trying to use his kids again to make money. He should man up and be a better dad by getting a job and provide for his children. Not have his children provide for him.
