I recently purchased and installed Baldur's Gate 1 and its expansion in their DVD form. Both before and after installing the newest patch, the game asks me to insert CD 1 or 6 when booting. I'll try both the BG DVD and the expansion DVD, and neither are recognized. I have only 1 optical drive, and the game is asking for the correct letter drive every time. Is there a way to fix this? I need my BG lovin!!!!

You gotta click on the FIND CD button, if there is one, and keep specifiying your D drive over and over again.
I think thats what I did.
Lemme go find my DVD and check it again.

Hmmmmmmmm......
Mine works fine without issues. But I have a newer version of the DVD that came with the Atari Forgotten Realms Collectors pack. I think you have an older version where all they did was slap the 5 CD's on a DVD and left it at that.

Hmm, I kept trying the TotSC cd (I guess it's actually still a CD-ROM) and it finally worked! Now it boots from and plays fine off of it. My optical drive has now found its new best friend :)
