Can't say I am terribly excited because the first one was a bit of letdown.

Was the first one $25 at launch? Seems really high if you ask me. Especially since all I ever really hear is how buggy they are.
The price is still a bit too steep for "just" a remake.
Bummer.
For the amount of hours of gameplay this thing has, it's actually worth it.
The original has over a 100 hours, so this may have probably 150 hours of gaming, or even close to 200. I wish they would do a Planescape Torment remake as well..
Wow, looks like they did an excellent job remastering the art and graphics. The screenshots look pretty damn impressive to me. Shit, looks like I'm talking myself into getting the game!![]()
I have all the big boxes sitting on a shelf next to me, and considering I can get a lot of the "Enhanced" experience from mods, I'm also waiting for $5.It feels like $25 is too much. I still have my last physical copy, but want it on Steam. I'll buy it when it hits $5.
I still have BG2 + TOB physical.
I remember playing with Fenixgoon, Userman, and some other AT peeps. It was pretty fun playing a sorc with Timestop, Meteor, and some other AoE spells...
great times indeed
what was your previous username? i cant remember the whole crew
I don't really think any Infinity Engine game needs an Enhanced Edition, they all work just fine on modern systems with the DDraw fix. I'm not saying the EE's don't offer some unique features or anything, but with how well they work as is, there's no reason not to just play whatever version of Torment you have, or can buy now. Anyway, I don't mean to thread crap.If you guys want a Torment Enhanced Edition, Cripes that game needs it, you'll need to support Beamdog.
