Hair is a legacy artifact in the making. Its function is slowly going away. Those who continue to have it are still on the slow side of evolution. Bahahahahaha

I think I'll wait another 10 years after it's gone mainstream in case they find out that these products cause testicular cancer or something :)

I may be balding fast, but there are more important things in life!

it does protect against sunburn and makes your head warmer in the winter.

Hmm. Spammer necros thread and now it's the top story on the main page of Anandtech from DailyTech (partner):
http://www.dailytech.com/Cure+For+B...ore+Shelves+within+Two+Years/article31606.htm

Still says "two years."

I still don't get what's so bad about being bold. Whatever, you accept it and move on.

Abandonment by your family, inability to find a romantic partner, never being promoted from a hidden cubicle-monkey position, persecution by roving gangs...

The problem isnt baldness. The problem is peoples perception of men and what constitutes attractiveness.

That will not be cured in 2 years.

Damn right on both counts!

The only plus sides of going bald are:

1 - no more paying for haircuts
2 - no need to worry about hair greasiness / aesthetics

Preventing baldness is as easy as taking testosterone blockers and Estrogen tablets.

On a more serious note, I think stem cell research will definitely provide a "permanent" solution for baldness. Of course, it may take a decade or more for that to be widely available.

im not going bald, but i have the adult hairline at 30... thing is, when i wear a hat the girls think im in my early 20's. if i could get back the hairline i had as a teen i would just tell girls im 23. fuck it. :D
