I've been to Mexico to see my family many times, it's not pretty down there, its worse then most inner-cities you can find, and its not like they push it upon themselves... my parents both came over ilegally (yes, they are naturalized now but it took them a while), my dad was forced to work in a factory because he knew little english and came here when he was 16... he knows what REAL work is, not this white-collar BS most of you WASP pricks do... The don't have to ask you for money, the government takes it from you and gives it to them. If they are so proud, maybe it is ignorance on *their* part thinking that the money comes from thin air and not from the pockets of working citizens.
When 60 illegals packed in a suburban flip over on the freeway and get free medical care and ambulance rides back to Mexico, your medical bills get bigger. This has in fact but several medical facilities out of business in Tucson in the last few years since federal law requires they treat anybody regardless.
Leeching is only half the problem, the more visible effect would be the degradation of society, for example:
Come stay in **Tucson, Arizona**, and you'll see. Odds are that SUV going 110 mph that rams past you with no regard for anyone's safety (or their own) or the law has a SON MEX plate...

I am not being racist or stereotyping here, these are merely my observations after living in southern AZ for 26 years and gradually seeing things erode worse and worse. I can honestly say for every 1 decent human mexican I know, I have observed 100 in the 'wild' that are no better than locusts; ever consuming and destroying and completely useless. The real problem is alot of the examples I cited aren't neccessarily here illegally... which is a much bigger problem. For every 100 illegals that get in or get stopped at the border there are 100 that are already here legally breeding, and completely assimilating all remnants of civilized society.
And as far as I'm concerned if you don't live in CA, AZ, or NM, or TX, (or if your a touched in the head pacifist liberal) you have no credibility on the issue, end of story.

Lets just say if you got paid under the table, got away with not paying taxes, had your food and neccesities covered, and housing paid for, even working at mcdonalds you could afford an escalade since thats the only payment youd have to make.

I thought the Escalade thing was just a generalization until I saw one outside DES with 22" gold rims (the mexican kind with the 1000 gold plated spokes and center cone)... no surprise as to what was driving it.

Oh yeah another Tucson, AZ thing that went down a few years back...
Some large number of illegals with issued valid state drivers licences because their 'homies' at DMV hooked them up. Some 80 people were busted... I dont know the rest of the story but I have to wonder how many of them are in jail and how many got sent back with a slap on the wrist and are back at it again. What would happen if a bunch of americans went to mexico and did that? What happens to americans who drive in mexico without insurance? THEY GO TO JAIL like they should (and not one with free cable TV either). But if we do that here, it's somehow bad and racist and the whole world protests. The biggest barrier to this whole immigration thing is the facist Vicente Fox who wants free one way reign on the border with no questions asked, but throws a big fit and raises eyebrows as if to suggest blackmail if we say/demand anything in return... fuc the prick. He may have total authority over mexico, but he shouldn't expect to take control of the US too! Yet another example of the take take take mentality of Mexico.
Even if the government made efforts to appease him, the citizens here will take matters in their hands as they have for over 200 years (minuteman project is a perfect example)
It's no wonder the city and state governments don't want to acknowledge the problem and try to shoot down any legislation that has VOTER APPROVAL >= 60-40 (ie: prop 200, english as the official language for the last 7 years, etc); most of the Tucson city council is also hispanic!

You come to America to prosper and improve yourself, not to exist and consume and cause filth in the process. If a ghetto is a ghetto why cant they stay in mexico with their families if thats all that is important? There are plenty of 3rd world shitholes in the world you can go to if thats all you want, but don't turn my neighborhoods into ghettos, and then move again leaving the rest of us to deal with the trash left behind when you don't like what you've recreated. Of course I would like to get rid of everyone who does these things, I could care less what color their skin is. Your wrong about the family thing, it's just as important to Americans (at least what remains of the civil ones). The only difference is we prefer to instill things the aforementioned people lack: responsibility, ambition, respect for others and their property, civil behavior, sanitation, courtesy, fight only when provoked, etc.
To put that in contest I've been rear ended by 1 white lady who had insurance and waited for police and all expenses were covered at no loss to myself. I've been rear ended by 3 mexicans, one whom handed me fake insurance and registration, and all 3 who have ran.
In all objective honesty, I would have to say that Asians (including India, etc) are the most well behaved ethnicity in America. Every one I have met; they are humble, polite, and ready to work hard without asking questions, and most close friends of mine from China and Vietnam are both self employed and very successful. I personally dislike the whole teenage SoCal aZn Rav3R matrix/akuma/sephiroth/blue LED inspired sub-culture thing, but thats just personal taste; its not like they are screwing anyone else over doing their own thing.

In all honesty if another Mexican rear ends me and that one pulls over and gets out of the car apologizing and demonstrating his desire to compensate me for damages, and I knew he was illegal, I probably wouldn?t turn him in; these are the kind I would love to see coming in from Mexico daily to ebb away at the preconceptions that I have formed as a result of living in Tucson, AZ for 26 years.
Unfortunately I have been shafted 3 times already and I wouldn't be able to trust him...
After all what documentation or paperwork or anything do I have to sue, have arrested, or file an insurance claim, etc. if he were to screw me?

i'll just add that i hate having to choose between english and spanish on the BofA atm machines and not having a choice for chinese (this is in SF by the way, and only some atm's near chinatown and clement street have this option). the issue isn't the language (i speak fluent chinese and passable spanish) but rather the wasted keystroke and the lack of a language for a people who built the damn railroads in this country.
English should be the only language on all ATMs in the US. I know what you mean about the wasted keystroke.....I have to do it everyday.
