Yeah, no kidding, I was going to let it go, but NOOOOOO... you guys had to bring it up again.

So anyway, yeah, I gave her the survey. You guys told me not to, so I had to do it. That's the way things usually go around here.

And it worked. She liked it. But she turned out to not be that interesting of a person... had trouble connecting with her and having a conversation about a topic deeper than the weather. Our personalities didn't mix after all.

So that cutie's still in the water. Now my only prospect is a relatively close friend of mine who loves a guy who's in love with someone else. Life has no pity. I really do enjoy being her friend, though, and will be content to maintain that relationship regardless of whether it ever progresses further.

Told you not to give her the survey... Maybe she would have acted normal if you were just yourself and asked for her phone number.

"Acting normal": the biggest paradox... ever. She was normal. She was herself. And herself and myself didn't jive.
