I ordered parts from 4 diffrent online stores on the 28th and 3 of them shipped the same day....


Ordered from newegg on the 28th and they haven't even packaged my stuff yet on the 31st....



I know. stop whining... but I thought newegg was the best at this... And I want my computer 😛
 
Strange, I ordered a couple things Christmas night (yes, I wanted to see how long they would take to process my order and ship it) and it left the afternoon of the 26th. Good luck with your new build.
 
I ordered something from newegg 3 thurdays ago and I had it the following monday with UPS ground shipping. They didn't update the shipping information until after I already got it. So there still might be hope for you.
 
I ordered a hard drive on thursday night, and it's already at the final sort facility. I pay the couple extra $$ for fed ex express saver, cause they usualy get things to me a day early, while UPS is very slow, and the 3 day usualy takes 5-7 days.
 
Maybe they just don't like you whining 🙂

Me they like, so they ship the next day. Amazon also usually ships for me in a day or two even using the free super saver.
 
Newegg is usually the fastest in terms of processing the order and getting it out the door, for me anyways. Just about every time I order from them it hits step 3 within hours and is shipped out the next day. Luckily UPS manages to get stuff to me within 3 days or less. I've got parts coming from 3 different places, so I'm constantly checking the status pages. I know how you feel.
 
Newegg does not have the best prices or cheapest shipping, if I shop around.

Since I live < 40 miles from their SoCal warehouse, if the order is place before 10:00AM,
I have it the next day by 5:00PM=scary fast. (If they haven't already, Newegg is going to China).

Your comparison makes things look alot worse than they are. The 28th/29th was a weekend, meaning most online places don't process, including newegg, then the 30th was a holiday. I wouldn't be suprised if newegg is pretty backed up from the 3-day weekend, in terms of orders to be shipped. I am actually suprised the other retailers you ordered from were processing things on saturday.

Interesting.... Amazon usually ships to me PDQ. Newegg ships PDQ as well but I have noticed on some items they ship from a 3rd party which ends up taking longer. Usually, if I order by noon or 1PM central I will get a tracking number from NE later that night as long as they have the itme in their warehouse.
