aye, and is it just me, or have a lot of the more recent members (dec and jan) been absolute idiots? there are some good ones, but a lot of them just plain suck.
 
The flower idea sounds good...if I could actually get a girl, I'd try that sometime 😛

One or two GUYS saying you'll come off bad. (And anyway WHO in their right mind would take love life advice from ANYONE named chickenhead!??) 😉

Sounds like Chickenhead speaks from experience. I remember a discussion we had regarding "Using protection" and he said he always let the women take care of it. It's called a restraining order

I have to maintain my stance on the flowers issue - please, please don't do this. Knowing her for just one date with no prior history between you two, and all of a sudden this? It sounds good in THEORY, but it's not applicable to reality! Ask some of your friends, too - this isn't exactly the first place I would come to for relationship advice. No offense, AT'ers. 🙂

chickenhead is being overly pessimistic, but i don't think flowers are all that great of an idea either. play it cool 😎

Well this is what's going to happen. Since the females think that it's a sweet thing to get her a flower, I'm going to do that. Scathing A-holes like chickenhead will be ignored, because for all I know they're bitter 16 year old geeks who've never been laid. I have 2 ex g/f's who still love me to death and about a dozen great female friends who think I'm all that and a bag of chips yet wonder why I'm still single (I have several reasons for not dating them, that's a different story).

If I bring her a flower and it's warmly received, I'll tell her I will call her Saturday. If she's taken aback, I'll take the hint and let her be on her way. I'll just spend the next three weeks getting over her. 🙂

I've worked in settings where I'd think I'd have a night off and make plans,only to be called in to work. If she was just blowing the guy off she wouldn't have told him she had to work and she wouldn't have indicated that she'll have freetime next weekend.

Trust me,this woman is probably just as disappointed that she got stuck working as her date is... if it were me I'd love it if the guy stopped by with a coffee or a flower

haha I hope it goes well, thats always been my stradegy with the fair sex, I am so sweet I sicken myself 🙂 negative to this is girls tend to really drag out whether or not they really like me. dunno if thats a rule, but my experience.
 
Change of plans..for now, at least.. I got sent home sick from work, no way I'm driving all the way to her work tonight (probably gonna be raining too).
I thought about it some more, and as infatuated as I am with her, I'm terrified of her at the same time. I'll wait things out and see how they develop (i.e. will I get a second date..) because if I really like her but don't feel like I can be myself around her that's not a good combination. 🙂

LOL girls never flat our reject nice guys. They feed nice guys lame excuses because the nice guy won't call them on those excuses 9 times out of 10.
