The big bags are standard here for milk jugs you'd keep in the fridge, but at schools (at least when I went) it was small cartons. How does a kid drink out of that plastic bag without making a huge mess? lol

IMO cartons are also much more environmentally friendly. While most people probably don't rinse and recycle them at least in the landfill they wont last 100's of years like plastic.

lol we had those back in elementary school in VA, (but they were filled to the seams). For about 6 weeks. Then they found out what happens when you give a bunch of kids milk-filled water balloons. 😀

This, only when we had them there was no separate membrane for it. Just stick it anywhere in the bag.

Umm we had this in Maine when I was in grade school.... which would be 13-15 years ago.

it had a soft spot like Capri Sun drinks that you would poke with a straw. However they make amazing launch pads. Push a corner in, stuff it with your chosen projectile, slam down the opposite side and enjoy.(this is of course before puncturing with a straw, otherwise you just get a fountain)
