Bad Zip file

Is there any way to fix a bad zip file? The size of the file seems right but it won't open.

The only utility I know of that can fix corrupted Zip files is PKZIPFIX.EXE. It's part of the PKZIP utilities. It's good at resurrecting files that have been farkled in storage or during transfer, but it can only do so much. Mostly it just rebuilds the index of the contents of the archive, I think. I believe you can download a trial version. (I believe PKZIPFIX comes with the DOS version of the utility. Not sure about the Windows version.)

Hope this helps.
