So I just put together a workstation today. Intel core 2 duo with a gig of 667 MHz ram(G.Skill).
Intel motherboard:

When I turn on the computer, I get 3 long beeps and no picture. I googled it and everything said that it was a keyboard error which is hard to believe. I looked at the intel manual and it said no memory. I put the 1 gig of ram in every slot and it has done the same thing. Is there any reason for this?

"You broke it...I told you not to touch it."

What kind of keyboard are you using? And, do you have another you can try (PS2)?

If there is a problem detecting a keyboard, it is unlikely that the BIOS will even POST thus, the error. Just put the ram in the slot reccomended by the manual and try a different type of KB.
