I installed the cox@home software, yeah I know..bad idea, but anyway..I've already uninstalled it and the problem still exists, so here's what happens..

Whenever I try to open something in a new window, or I get a pop-up, the new window doesn't load, it just stay in a blank mode..here's a picture of it.

This is very annoying because I can't PM anyone, can't download things..and I can't open new browsers without doing other things..i've deleted IE just to have it come back again, and I deleted all the registry settings for the @home thing, but it still happens :(

Any help is very much appreciated

More info is needed IMO. What OS are you using? From the info provided, I assume you are using IE, but want to make sure. Don't have @home, but I never installed my RR software because you don't need it.....I'm guessing the same is probably true with @home. It's just another network connection.

Any Cable-Modem or DSL Modem that connect to a Network Card work just like connecting to a standard LAN.
Just like anything else you'd plug into a Network Card.

FYI, the techs at nor'east Ohio RoadRunner will actually tell you to NOT install the CD if you're lucky enough to
call them before you do.

I fixed it by basically turning off ACPI, then back on so all my drivers would reinstall.
