http://news.yahoo.com/calif-man-accused-throwing-son-off-cruise-boat-170614399.html

man was arrested for investigation of throwing his crying 7-year-old son into the water from a sightseeing cruise boat during an argument that shocked other passengers, authorities said Monday.

"The father hit him several times and then threatened to throw him overboard if he didn't stop crying," Amormino said. "The crowd on the boat became very angry at the father for hitting the kid and extremely angry when he threw him overboard."

I would think so...

This story was on the local paper a few months ago. A girl was adopted by her aunt in texas and over time was tortured by her own aunt, they moved to Sacramento and the torture continued. Oh and she asked for help from teachers and CPS and no one would help her. Look at her scares in the photo and tell me the school districts and local government shouldn't be sued. How could they ignore he crys for help.

Why, for the love of anything good, would anyone want to document all of this, or worse, to read it? :(

Going home to hug my kids, and be thankful they have a warm, loving family.

Stories like this must be told and remember, so these children will know their suffering will not be forgoten, it will not be ignored.

My fault for posting the first really bad story. The OP and river story were not disgusting stories.

These stories do make me appreciate my kids.

At least this mom is now pleading guilty, http://www.abc12.com/story/15362680/co#.Tl2MwA6H4bZ.facebook not for the faint of heart.

i don't understand it. why would you allow stuff like this to happen? if my spouse was doing crap like this to my kids i would leave. if the courts gave her custody i would run.

this..i just don't understand. i really do not get it.

This one the mom and boyfriend are drug addicts. i saw pictures of the mom and she was beatup bad in the face with two black eyes. But you are right if it was my kid I would fight till the death before i let anyone do anything to my children. The worst part of this story was the boy's cousin who was there to buy drugs was the first to try and get help for the little boy. Too bad it was too little too late.
