recently i orderd 2 amd athlon xp 2400+ from newegg.com
they were retail box and were labled 2400+
when i put it in my system it says that the cpu is an amd athlon xp 1800+

should i call newegg and ask them if they will ship me the product? OR
should i call amd and ask them to send me a new product?

Depending on your mobo, you may need to update your BIOS to properly detect the newer series of Athlon XPs. If your BIOS is the latest, try just clearing the CMOS. I wouldn't worry about getting relabeled product from newegg.

Don't you have a thread in a different forum already where your question has been answered multiple times.

I think I just read somewhere (Maximun PC?) that some AMDs we mis-marked. Check it out.
