Bad OC?

I am running the OC in my sig (E6400 @ 3.52GHz 1.52v).
The other day I upped my PC to 3.7GHz (462*8) for a benchmark run and tightened my RAM timings at a 1:1 ratio.
When I put my CPU and RAM back down to my running OC, the computer seemed slower. It takes about twice as long to boot up as it did. What happened?

Is it possible your hard drive got switched from DMA mode to PIO due to access errors while OCing?

yeah. i still do not understand DMA or PIO.
