Bad Move to Buy a 2007 Honda Accord?

If you're stuck on the V6, why not look at a pre-owned Acura TL? The 3.2 is a noticeably more potent motor, and the rest of the car is a step up as well. They aren't all that expensive, and they give great warranties.

I agree that the average Accord sedan is quite bland. However, the sport-tuned V6 6-Speed 250hp coupe is another car entirely. As far as ride, power and amenities, it's tough to compare it to anything else in it's price range. I have a fairly deep wallet to buy nice cars now and I think if I had to ditch my Accord coupe and buy another car, I would be looking at the new model.

IMHO the Accord is a great, reliable car but it has a very unimpressive ride. I rent these cars all the time while on business travel and they do everything they were designed to do ... but no more. If you like vanilla ice cream then this car is for you.

As hard as it is to believe, vanilla IS a flavor in its own right, albeit a mild one.😉
