..all you bikers and cyclists need to carry organ donor cards.

Why is it any of your business?

There is a reason that emergency crews call motorcyclists "organ donors". If you're not gonna use 'em to their potential might as well let someone else when you're finished.

And that makes it your business because...

Motorcycle accidents are strange. I once crashed at ~90kmph (55mph) and walked away with no real damage - just the skin had peeled off my palms a little. And I've seen fatal accidents at less than half that speed.

Too many things can go wrong in a bike crash. After you crash, the first thing you think of is, "Thank God no one else (vehicle) was right behind." That is what scares me the most - if the crash doesn't hurt/kill you, the speeding truck in your rearviewmirror might.

for some reason I was expecting much worse. Had a mom that used worked a period of time in the ER and she would describe the motorcycle accident victims (anytime some kid in the neighborhood started talking about getting a motorcycle). Add to that a stepdad that had his own carpet cleaning business that would (rarely, but sometimes) describe having to go on "suicide cleanup" calls. I definitely was thinking it would be much more graphic based on the replies in the thread, glad it wasn't.

Don't know where they're from, and I guess when a car is involved, you never nkow, but heres my accident from 2 weeks ago

Sometimes all the gear in the world can't save you, but sometimes you get the last two day's memory knocked out of you, wake up in the hospital with a concussion, bruises, and a sprained wrist and go back to work 4 days from the accident.

When I got into my first accident, I only lost 30 minutes and was back the next day, but my bike didn't look as bad as yours. 1000RR or 600rr??

600.

I'm thinking about turning it track, the back seems relatively in tact. Going to the frame in for testing next week, then I figure I need a new radiator, forks, cluster, headers, and should be back for under a grand. Hopefully engine and trans is still good.
