bad motherbaord?

I built this computer for a guy and 2 weeks later he brings it back and says it wont boot.

So i checked it out and it seems to have continuous power. So i tested the PSU and it came out fine.. next i isolated the motherboard and hooked it up to a new PSU.. still continuous power.

So i RMA the motherboard and today a new one comes in... SAME FUKIN THING... whats the problem? All i have hooked up is the motherboard and a PSU and i tried 3 PSU's.

Another bad motherboard?
 
Doesnt matter... but they are raidmax just cheap $15 ones 420watts.

They work on other pcs.... just this motherboard has continuous power. why?

I have the motherboard sitting on some foam with the psu plugged into it and the psu just turns on automatically.. no switch.

Umm yes it does matter. 99% sure that if you change to a quality power supply you will have no issues and that motherboard you sent back was indeed good. Why are you hooking $100's of equipment to a $15 piece of crap?
 
how in the world did you get 20,000 posts and your saying these PSU's are junk. Ive bought over 50 of the same kind. this has nothin to do with the PSU. It works in my other computers and my antec true 550w does the same thing with this motherboard.

is the mobo bad?
 
Raidmax power supplies are garbage. I'm sorry if you feel insulted by my help.

Certain model Antec's were having issues with I believe Asus motherboards. Again I ask why are you hooking up $$$ equipment to something that can fry your computers in 2 seconds?
 
They are rated 5 stars and have over 200+ reviews... theres nothin wrong with them and im not insulted but i just know these are good for compaqs and dells that i replace so often. I have my own pc repair shop. I just dont understand why this is the 2nd motherboard giving continuous power. The default PSU is still in the PC.. so i guess compaq's PSU is garbage and fries systems also?

I just hooked up my raidmax PSU to see if that was the problem.

When a motherboard gives contiunuous power its bad correct?
 
Not necessarily. You could have bad memory, video card, or something is not hooked up correctly. If you have a PC repair shop this type of thing should be easy for you to troubleshoot.
 
Well if you have 20,000 posts.. reading a simple paragraph should be simple to you. (^.^)

I stated several time... ONLY the motherboard is hooked up to the PSU and its laying on some foam
Im just very concerned why 2 motherboards would do the same exact thing... i suppose its dead
