1) People who slam doors for no f'ing reason. Not because they are angry, but because they are too rude and lazy to just "close" it.
2) Loud mouths who butt into nice conversations and won't shut up.
3) People who think they are so important that they need to leave their cell phone on and even use it in libraries and during lectures and movies.

I just don't like people who are impatient and adversarial, who would rather invite conflict than try to find a diplomatic situation. I try that at work, and thus far, I have many friends there. Others will be rude over minor things, and incite verbal spats over nothing. Like if there's a pallet of freight somewhere that someone is working on, but you need it moved, just say "I need to move this for a second to get at this shelf." And that's usually met with "Ok, go ahead." But some people will just come up to it, without a word, and move the pallet. Same action, but with no permission given. Stuff like that, people get mad over.
Impatience - this is on the road mainly that I don't like it. Driving maybe...20 miles to work (I do 16 each way). Your impatience may amount to maybe 2 minutes saved, at the possible cost of causing an accident and a life. If people were a little patient - like, the light changes green and the person ahead of you reacts in less than a microsecond, so you blow the horn and yell. Why? They glance back at the light, and go. Time lost, one second. So be patient, and be considerate.

Manner things though...hate it when people chew with their mouths open. I can't stand the sound of it.

People who don't say thank you when you hold the door open for them.
Don't know about this one - I hold doors for people all the time, and I don't really expect a thank you. I tend to think of it as understood. Or at least a nod should get the point across. Saying "hello" all the time was never a habit for me either - I didn't talk much throughout my years in school, and if I did, it was only to people I knew well. Hello is to me like saying "I acknowledge that you exist" - I can do that without saying a word. I generally won't say hello if someone is talking, or actively engaged in something else. If they ask about it, I explain why. People who know me will begin to understand this.

I like to say "you're welcome" to these people who don't say thank you, sends a pretty clear message.
What is welcome, and why should I have to be it? :)

Well, I hate it when the "popular" kids tend to pick on the "losers" of a group . . . it's the same with adults, I know
And they won't stop at the "losers" of the group - they find other groups to prey on. I was generally on the receiving end. I never took advice that was given to me - "beat him up!". Verbal remarks just never warranted physical violence, in my mind. And I never received physical violence, so none was warranted on that account either.

ok....what really, really annoys me:

2)
If you're around a public restroom - and you see some dude just coming out of it zipping his stall up. (Outside the bathroom)

1)
You're in a public restroom and you see this sweaty guy going to the urinal taking a p*ss. You're just washing your hands or something.
You see the sweaty guy leaving the urinal w/o washing his hands, opening the exit door and leave.
On the door-knob now are the germs from his unwashed schlong which he just had in hands to p*ss....bon appetite :)
Even worse - bathroom stinks, someone in the stall for awhile, toilet flushes. And they still don't wash their hands. *shudder* hate to think about what else they might touch then.

Um, your salivia is one of the first lines of defense for your immune system. Contains some pretty toxic stuff for bacteria.
You sure? It's quite a haven for a significant number of bacteria.

One thing that really annoys the heck out of me is the mainlander male Chinese who go and spit their phlegm everywhere all over the ground without any regard for hygiene at all.
A few people over here in the US will spit on floors. I think they do it out of disrespect for the place. Or else they're just jerks.

3) People who think they are so important that they need to leave their cell phone on and even use it in libraries and during lectures and movies.
Movies reminds me - idiots that go to a movie for nothing more than to yell at it or make fun of it. We have Mystery Science Theater 3000 for a reason. It's appropriate (and funny) there, but in the theater, what'd be more funny would be for the hecklers to be thrown (literally) out of the theater.

Quick pet peeve here too:
would of != would've
could of != could've
should of != should've
They are contractions, not two separate words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, that's enough I guess.

People who don't seem to know how to use their turn signals.

Almost as bad: some do use them... after they have already started their turn or are in your lane now. <thanks, I think I know your turning already, idiot>

People in the dorms who litter shared spaces.

I know in other floors, people bring their garbage from their room and toss the entire bag in the study lounge

I never really understood why people do that.

As you get older, the oil in your skin starts to be less abundant (that's why teenagers have acne....crapload of oil), so when you're young, the oil in your fingertips very easily grabs onto pages making them easy to turn. But as you grow older and there's less oil, it makes it harder to turn pages, so some people lick their fingers to make it easier.

I've got a ton of pet peeves, but not the inclination to list a lot of them. The biggest one is people just generally being inconsiderate and not realizing that they're not the only person in the world. This especially bothers me while driving; I've always followed the general idea that people should do what they can to cause the least impediance to the flow of traffic. That means not going to the left hand side of the lane to make a right-hand turn, not staying in the fast lane on the highway if you see someone coming up behind you, not driving real slow while you look for a house when there are other people behind you, etc. That kind of inconsideration bugs the crap outta me.

i usually just let the next door close right behind me so they have to open it themselves(when there is another set of doors, of course).

i also hate people talking on cells at a movie.

People who leave the weights on the floor in a gym. I do not want to have to lift the 65lb dumbell off the floor that you had the privilege of taking from the rack.

RETURN THE WEIGHTS PEOPLE!

1. People who change lanes without using their turn signal
2. People who talk on their cell phones while driving and are going hugging the left line while going slow in the fast lane
3. People who talk on their cell phones while driving and swerve across multiple lanes of traffic because they are going to miss their exit

Parents who don't control their young children. There are physics/astronomy lectures at the local uni every month, and everytime I have gone some recalcitrant woman brings her young children to the lectures, and they spend the entire time laughing, crying, yelling, and running around. She just keeps saying "shh" to the kids, and they laugh and run away.

Oh, and people who talk during movies.

I cringe in many situations at school [highschool]. Like, i'll enter the room for a class, and everyone will sit down and get settled while talking, and then the teacher will say "ok settle down", but alot of the time people are so busy talking about what they saw on tv last night that they don't notice and keep talking, so the teacher gets mad or whatever.

Similar thing happend yesterday, there was a guest talk from a guy from some university about the politics of music, which i found quite interesting. But all the way through i heard people talking, it was really rude, and the thing that annoys me our teachers notice it and get pissed off, and we're labled as like an immature/rude year group or whatever, when there loads of people like me who know when to stfu and listen when we are supposed to.
