Bad Links

I am not sure if anyone has noticed this on the teamanandtech.com site that the link on the left nav bar titled "Forums" is dead. Has been for some time. More of them may be dead as well I didn't check all the links. I figured since that is where our team ID page points people it may be useful to fix it.

I am F@H user KingSalami if anyone is wondering.

Remember,
http://www.teamanandtech.net/
&
http://www.teamanandtech.com/
are 2 different places.
The '.com' site is way out of date. I think whoever owns/administers it isn't around any more. If there are links pointing to the '.com' site we should fix that ASAP.

edit-
Actually, on the '.net' site the link to these forums is broke too, for me at least.
FF 3.0.8 & Win XP

edit 2-
The link on both site points to
http://forums.anandtech.com/categories.cfm?catid=39
& should be
http://forums.anandtech.com/categories.aspx?catid=39

Thanks for the heads-up.
I have just checked some of the links at www.teamanandtech.net and most of them work well except the link linking to TAstats.com (which is some totally different site now - no distributed computing at all) and to Reddeye Xpress (which is down). The link to this forum is broken but I do not quite understand how ... since it works OK if I paste it directly to my browser ...

I'll look into this as soon as time permits.

The site www.teamanandtech.com has been defunct for a long time and I do not know whose site it is now...

Teamanandtech.com is up for expiration this May 25th. If no one objects, I'll pick it up and add it to my DNS account and I can just point it to teamanandtech.net is someone updates the virtual host listing on teamanandtech.net.

I handle teamanandtech.com. The website portion clearly needs some TLC. For now I have added a location directive to send nearly all requests from .com to .net. Anything still dealing with the Distributed.net section is still live though, as the pproxy stats and all clients are still actively using this domain.

Although D.Net is very old school, TA still has a number of active participants. Anyone who wants or still participates in OGR-27 (New') or RC5-72 projects, please check out: TA DNet Site. We need some more people to give Mika and I a race in OGR-27.

My bad. It sounds like you weren't active anymore. Good to see you're around.

I dunno about that, as you will then jump way past me. 🙂 But yeah, I should be able to do that over the weekend.

I have been chugging away at ogr27 for the team. This is the first I have seen of a teAm page. Is there a reason that I do not show under the OGR stats?

Thanx for looking at it, sorry about the bad news.

I felt that having a bad presentation may turn off some potential new team members.

To use the TA pproxy and start to show up on the stats, go into the configuration menu of dnetc. Opt #2 (Buffer Options), Opt #6 (Keyserver<->client): Set #2 (Automatically Select) to No, #3 (Keyserver Hostname) to proxy.teamanandtech.com, #4 (Keyserver Port) to 2064. If you want to make absolutely sure all your packets go through the TA proxy, set #5 (Disable Fallback) to yes.
