i would have to say so,
-it doesn't even seem to be made for laptops at all, its more of a drawing table
-he is sitting at it wrong, usually you would want to it flip towards you not away from you
-why wouldn't you brace it if you were going to change the angle?

what do you all think?
 
I think he's an idiot and trying to manipulate the video to make up for his stupidity. I hope the company laughs him out the door.

Seriously. While he is stupid for his carelessness (it's a freaking laptop, be careful!), a table specifically designed for laptops should not propel whatever is on top of it several feet when you adjust it. He should sue and shut those aholes down, not because he deserves the money, but because they don't deserve to be in business.

ok whatever, but still, look at how the laptop is positioned in the pic you posted and how this guy has it sitting in his videos, he's sitting at the thing backwards
 
That product looks like a terrible POS. I think his mistake was buying it, not using it "improperly". I would never expect something that's acting as a desk to swivel vertically upon adjusting its height. That just doesn't make sense.
 
Yep, he's a dumbass. I just looked in the Freedom catalogue, and that table tilts TOWARDS the user, not away from them. If he'd ben using it properly, even with the laptop on the table, it should have flipped toward him and onto his lap.
 
i've used a similar product and it worked just fine.. it didn't have any sort of tilt adjustment, just a flat plate which bolts into the tripod, and it supports your laptop... it's not super sturdy, and i would definately not try to adjust anything while my laptop was on it.. i'm voting stupidity
 
Jason obviously didn?t read the warning label on the bottom of the ?Freedom Laptop Table ii? informing him the device also doubled as a trebuchet. Too bad for his week-old high-end Acer Ferrari laptop.

and lets say he did the same thing if he was sitting at it correctly, the table would tild toward him jaring the laptop, but i doubt it would fall because of how the weight is distributed. Im guessing that with the way he made the laptop fall its mainly due to the shift in weight and the weight of the screen on the one side
 
you know, with a few of those well placed, you could probably execute a decent seige on the enemy.

Engineer: Well, its ready, but the table top is lose and will flip easily if something is sitting on top when you try to adjust it.
Manager: Can't you just put a sticker on the bottom of the table so the consumer will see it when the table top flips over?
 
those tables have been around since long before laptops. everyone knows the big half rotates freely when you loosen it. i used to eat off of one when i was a little kid and i was sick. my mom would bring me chicken soup to eat off it while i sat in bed. :heart:
