MASSACHUSETTS (WPRI) - These days, more men and women are trying to survive the bad economy by selling their sperm and eggs.

According to the Northeast Assisted Fertility Group , the number of women filling out applications to donate eggs has doubled. The number of women asking about donating their eggs has jumped by about 30 percent at some egg-donor agencies.

The women make as much as $10,000 after their eggs are retrieved.

The number of potential sperm donors grow by 15 percent in 2008 compared to 2007.

Most would-be sperm and egg donors are denied.

havent you seen the movies?once there is about a 5:1 or 10:1 ratio then men will be in demand... of course to get to that point you have to kill off all the good looking ones.

Not to mention it's a bit easier for men. 😉

There is hormone treatments for months, which result in (you figure it out) an extremely cranky version of herself, has to be abstinent for prolonged amount of time, and multiple doctor visits to be injected with the hormones and have all the eggs removed. Jacking off into a cup once a week, not so much effort 😕

It's simple math. Women only produce one egg a month (they can up that a bit with fertility drugs), and men shoot out millions of sperm with each load.
If each ejaculation only contained one or a dozen or so sperm then men would be getting the 10 grand. But.. that's not how it works. 😛
