Ok I have a stupid question...
now when you get dsl to your house, is the ip address you get from the phone company you get the line from or is it the isp?
It kinda pisses me off that cox has port 80 blocked...
I want to do a little bit of hosting as a hobby, you know run a shell account service, e-mial for freinds, some small web pages, a file server... you know the basics. Now what would be the cheapest legal way to do that with something a bit faster than dial up....
