Bad Company 2 Limited Edition - Worth it?

I haven't picked up Bad Company 2 yet simply because I have so many other games that I'm trying to finish. After reading several reviews, it sounds like one of the best games to come out in a while, and I'm tempted to get it.

I had the Limited Edition added to my shopping cart on Steam earlier, but just went to purchase it and found out it's no longer available. Is it still worth getting the regular edition (same price...)? Am I missing out on anything that isn't otherwise obtainable in the regular edition?

The only thing the limited edition gives you is unlocks early in the game before you have to earn them and it's really easy to earn things in this game. Not worth it imo.

You aren't missing anything without getting the limited edition. The LE just gives you 6 unlocks from the start, but you can earn them through playing the game online anyways so it isn't special really.

It was on Steam at launch...

To me if you don't plan to log a lot of hours the unlocks were nice, though the only ones that seemed of value were the vehicle ones.

Awesome. It sounded like it was worded that way, but I wasn't sure. Seeing that it did eventually disappear (truly limited, I guess) I suddenly thought it was similar to a pre-order bonus - get it now, or you're SOL. When it disappeared (just as I was about to purchase), I was pissed enough swear it off.
