Basically I have Windows 98 and when I boot up the computer it gives me the message "Bad command or file name. . .Press any key to continue". I can get into safe mode but don't know how or what to fix lol. I would greatly appreciate any insite into this problem. Does it have anything to do with the config.sys or boot.txt? I'm sure its something simple, hope anyway. :)

did u delete anything? all i know is that that comes up when a bad dos command refers to a file that isnt there, a line in either of those files may be the culprit

Chances are you deleted something and it was part of a program and that program needs that file upon startup. You can always try to get rid of it by uninstalling that target program and re-installing or try using "ms-config" and getting rid of things that startup one by one in the autoexec.bat file.
