Bad Clusters on HD

My Maxtor 60gb HD is only 2 weeks old, tonight after system trouble scandisk found 3 bad clusters in 2 separate places on the first partition. Should I RMA immediately or is this within random chance? My old 8gb HD never reported any over more than 2 years, so this seems like a bad omen to me.

if it's only 2 weeks old you have alot of time, but bad clusters are a natural part of magnetic media
just keep an eye on it and run you disk utilities but i'll bet it's fine

I agree with cholley that bad clusters are a natural part of magnetic media and they normally show up over time, BUT since the drive is 2 weeks old, I would RMA it. In my opinion, 2 weeks is way too short of time to start seeing such activity.
