Yep, they hosed you, email corporate.

I've sent 3 emails to corporate, and they contacted the store almost immediately and responded to my emails...

2 were complimentary, 1 was not.

Sounds like Rocco needs a beatdown.

I can ask my neighbor who works at staples if he's paid by commision or something of that sort :D

It's their store. If you don't like what they practice don't shop there. There is no law forcing them to sell you anything. In fact, they can bar you from their store if they wish.

Yeah, but it's not Rocco's store. On top of that, he's doing that just so he can save a few bucks on the drive himself which should not be allowed (and probably isn't in their company policies).

I hope that was drive was $90 Canadian, of course I'm spoiled by living 20 minutes from Fry's.

Today's Fry's special, 200 GB Seagate, retail package, $75 after rebate. ;)

Anyway, I'm sure corporate would be interested in what "Rocco" did, so send them an email or a letter.
