Yeah, Mr. bay does do a very good job considering what kind of script he had to work with, lol. The funny parts were great and the action sequences were good but there were so many plot holes I was confused, lol.

yeah, i agree with certain aspects of that. i agree with the action and dialogue, but not the storyline. but thats because matrix had a more-developed story line, in that it carried over from the previous film and it will continue onto the next film and that they put a lot of attention into the details. but in bad boys, i enjoyed the comedic dialogue, it was very well done and well placed. and the action was a whole lot better, especially during the freeway chase with the ferrari. the freeway chase was more entertaining to me in this movie than matrix, because I would dream to be in that situation, driving a fast car, dodging items being dumped at me on the road, chasing the bad guys. and the fact that a lot of it wasnt cgi'd (still being debated, i suppose) makes it even better.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Bad Boys 2. You just have to be a certain type of hardened person to watch it. Some people thought it was just tasteless non-stop senseless action. However some people, like me, love that type of movie! And the comedy between Smith and Lawrence helped big time smoothing out the over the top scenes.

Thats exactly it...its the onscreen comedy with Smith and Lawrence that brought it all togreather. The first one in my opinion had too much dialog that it got old abd boring this was the perfect balance.

I liked the movie, although it was a bit long considering the plot wasn't all that deep.

However, I thought the scene with the Hummer was awful. If it were real, could you imagine how many people were probably killed? Pretty shoddy copwork if you ask me. Whatever happened to "protect the innocent"? And no, I don't think the fact that "they made the drugs there" justifies wiping everyone out.
