so i just got 2 kits of that to go with the one i already have. i popped one of the new kits into my board and i was doing some stress testing with it last night. was trying to find my maximum memory OC on "stock" voltages (listed as 2.0-2.1v), but memtest86+ v3.2 found a bad bit at 8013mb~ at 1066 @ 2.0v after letting it run all night. i know the ram is listed to take up to 2.1v, but that's a bit high since my other kit in here does 1200mhz @ 2v np at 5-6-5-18. i havent tested my 3rd kit yet at all. so you think newegg would accept an RMA for something like that, or should i just stick this kit in my other board that's only going to be running it at 900mhz @ 1.8v, assuming the 3rd kit is good?

Hey if there's a bad bit at stock voltage then I would consider it defective. You shouldn't have to overvolt memory to have it pass a stress test.

yea so turns out that my memory is addressed in a different order than how they tell you to put it in on my UD3P, and the kit i had originally may be at fault. did 2 overnight tests, one with each new kit, and the same exact bad bit turned up at 8015.3mb. the 2 tests pulled 100% identical results, so im testing my first kit by itself again the way i did when i got it to see if it this is indeed the case. would be odd for it to have worn out like that though, considering it's only been running at 891mhz @ 4-4-4-12 @ 1.8v since i got it. might explain a couple of phantom issues i had though when i passed 5GB in my other system though, even though the memory tested good for 3 days straight at the above settings
